API error codes and rate limits
Every error the Atvērtie dati API returns — 401 invalid_api_key, 403 insufficient_scope, 429 rate_limit_exceeded — with what causes it and how to recover.
Datasets available through the API
- Companies — Latvian company registry — profiles, officers, beneficial owners, shareholders, activities and annual financial statements. (8 endpoints, updated daily)
- NACE classifiers — NACE Rev. 2 economic activity classifier, searchable and as a full hierarchy. (4 endpoints, updated rarely)
- Real estate — Property transactions, addresses, buildings, land parcels and per-city price statistics. (7 endpoints, updated daily)
- Interest rates — Euribor reference rates and Latvian consumer loan rates. (2 endpoints, updated daily)
- Prices — Retail fuel prices and household electricity plans including Nord Pool spot history. (4 endpoints, updated daily)
- Statistical indices — CSP consumer price indices and pension capital data. (2 endpoints, updated monthly)
- Election candidates — CVK Saeima election candidates, their lists and aggregate statistics. (4 endpoints, updated per election)
- Utility debtors — Rīgas Siltums and Rīgas Ūdens published debtor registers. (2 endpoints, updated monthly)
- Candidate declarations — Property, vehicle, debt and shareholding declarations filed by election candidates. (1 endpoints, updated per election)
- Person cards — Aggregated person profiles and their company affiliations. (2 endpoints, updated daily)
- Property valuation — Model-derived property price estimates with comparable transactions. (1 endpoints, updated daily)
